About Me

From a young age I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. My journey led me to study B.A. communication and psychology. I started to develop a passion for psychology and decided on psychology as my career path. 

My fist step towards psychology was to study psychometry at the University of Johannesburg (equivalent BA Hons degree). I worked for a number of years within various environments (education, corporate and legal)  working as a psychometrist. I eventually returned to my study in psychology and completed my masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Limpopo.

As part of the training a completed an internship year at Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital and a community service year at Sebokeng Hospital. 

Currently, I am in private practice working as a registered clinical psychologist as per the HPCSA requirements. I work within different environments such as a that of therapeutic, medico-legal and assessor. I believe each person is unique and I seek to cater for differing needs and circumstances.

I am concerned for the overall health of all of my clients and is committed to assist each client specific to their needs.

I have worked with a variety of patients, clients and environments. I value continued professional development and have been attending courses to further my therapeutic as well as  professional knowledge and skill set.
